Signshop Wins $450,000 Contract for Stadium Project

Omaha Neon Sign Co. (Omaha, NE) was tapped to create six new signs for Charles Schwab Field, the baseball stadium formerly known as TD Ameritrade Park which has been the longtime host site of the NCAA College World Series, The Daily Nonpareil reports.

The signshop will be paid $450,000 for the project, which was approved by the nonprofit organization that operates the stadium, the article says. The organization will foot the initial cost and then be reimbursed by Charles Schwab, which obtained the stadium naming rights when it acquired TD Ameritrade in October 2020.

Officials expect to have the signage fully installed in a matter of days. The College World Series is set to begin on June 17.

Omaha Neon was founded in 1923 and purchased by Samuel J. Marchese in 1966. The full-service shop has almost 100 employees.
