Pope Francis announced Thursday that Junipero Serra, the Spanish priest who founded a string of California missions, will be canonized in September as a saint.

  • CEO Frank Talarico Jr. took the helm of Goodwill in Orange County in 2012. After receiving designer and luxury donations from collection sites throughout the county, Talarico dreamed up the idea of opening more curated Goodwill stores.
