Upstart Sign Company Buys Competitor

Indie Signs (Phoenix) has acquired Craft Master Sign Corporation (Phoenix), a local competitor that operates in the same target market.

Craft Master founder John L. Brennard made the decision to sell in order to retire after 37 years in business, according to a release.

Indie Signs says it has retained all Craft Master employees. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Founded in 2018, Indie Signs works with national brands, including Domino’s, as well as commercial real estate owners and developers. Its offerings include tenant wall signs, monument and pylon signs, drive-thru and car-side delivery signs, and interior signage.

In the release, the company says “more acquisitions are planned over the next few years.”
